CNC machine remote diagnostics 

Remote diagnostics is a TOS VARNSDORF service that enables a secure remote connection to the customer’s machine and a quick evaluation of its technical condition. Thanks to this service, we can quickly identify faults, analyse operating parameters and, in many cases, solve the problem without the need for on-site service intervention. 

The service, implemented exclusively after approval and activation by the customer, is available for machines equipped with appropriate hardware and software resources.

Description

The technical basis of remote diagnostics is a secure internet connection to the machine installed at the customer’s site. At the request of the machine operator, a connection is established between the machine and the TOS VARNSDORF service workplace 

On the customer’s side, the machine is equipped with a communication unit (a combination of modem, router and switch), which after activation by the customer sends requests to connect with the manufacturer’s service technician. The entire system is equipped with security certificates and access keys to establish a secure connection. 

Remote diagnostics is offered for all machines manufactured by TOS VARNSDORF a.s. that are equipped with control systems: 

  • HEIDENHAIN TNC 640/ TNC 7 
  • SIEMENS SINUMERIK 840D sl / ONE 
  • Fanuc 30/31 i
