This attachment is suitable for turning vertical peripheral surfaces and also allows turning of internal and external cylindrical/conical surfaces. The turning tool is clamped using an ISO 50 cone. The carousel attachment is adapted for cooling via the spindle axis. The attachment is mounted on the machine automatically using the AVTP system.

The clamping spindle replaces the working spindle on the GRATA milling machine and the WVM 2900/3900 T portal machine. The clamping spindle body itself contains complete drive mechanisms and mountings for the working spindle (in precision spindle bearings). The extension bearing is permanently lubricated with grease. Depending on the technological requirements, it is possible to choose either the short VNK 560 extension or the long VND 800 extension.
