Motivation
To have an immediate overview of the current production orders on a particular machine or on all machines on the production shop. As a result, we need to improve the efficiency of production planning based on information about the workload of each machine, the deadlines set, the availability of material in stock and possibly other available information.
Description
The Job Management function displays an overview of work orders and operations directly on the machine tool control panel, which is linked to the company ERP system (including the desktop application for production shop foremen). It enables production optimization by means of logical algorithms that evaluate the priority of individual work orders according to the desired finish date, the machine status or even the stock of material in the warehouse.
Various supporting documents such as operation description, photos, tables (clamping instructions, etc.) or NC programs can be inserted into the application.
